Lakeland has gone 9-1 against Sandpoint recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Hawks will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m.

Back in March, Lakeland didn't have quite enough to beat Sandpoint and fell 9-8.

For Sandpoint's part, Marlee Stevens spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and five unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Avery Inge was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Cadence Skibitsky was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Lakeland's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Sandpoint, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
