It's playoff time, and Morrilton had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Stuttgart Ricebirds 16-2 on Thursday. The Devil Dogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Morrilton is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Stuttgart, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-5.
