Basketball Recap: Crofton Comes Up Short

On Monday, Crofton came up short against the Springdale Prep Lions and fell 61-49. Crofton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Springdale Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anya Neufeld led the charge by dropping a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Springdale Prep is 5-2 when Neufeld posts ten or more boards, but 16-18 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Zing Yinpobil, who posted eight points and 13 rebounds.

Crofton's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Springdale Prep, they now have a winning record of 21-20.

Crofton has already played their next game (against Glen Burnie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Springdale Prep, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 54-42 defeat against Rosedale Christian Academy on the 1st.
