Recap: Southern Huntingdon County Rockets vs. Juniata Valley Hornets
The Southern Huntingdon County Rockets pushed their score all the way to 57 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 72-57 fall against Juniata Valley. While losing is never fun, Southern Huntingdon County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 480th, while Juniata Valley is ranked 149th).
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Juniata Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Connor Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. The match was Robinson's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Deihl, who scored 15 points along with eight steals.
Southern Huntingdon County now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Juniata Valley, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.
