Baseball Preview: Aurora Greenmen vs. Revere Minutemen

The Aurora Greenmen will head out on the road to challenge the Revere Minutemen at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Aurora is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Saturday, Aurora needed a bit of extra time to put away Roosevelt. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Rough Riders 6-5.

Jayce Unverferth and AJ Cifani dominated on the mound. Unverferth tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit, while Cifani struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Aurora has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Revere struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4. The only question left is which team can snag more.
