Volleyball Game Preview: Mineral County Serpents vs. Sage Ridge Scorpions + How To Watch

The Mineral County Serpents will square off against the Sage Ridge Scorpions at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Mineral County lost 3-0 to Pyramid Lake on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Serpents in their meetings with the Lakers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13, 25-6.

Meanwhile, Sage Ridge hadn't done well against Virginia City recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Scorpions had just enough and edged out the Muckers 3-2.

Sage Ridge wouldn't go down easily and took Virginia City into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-19, 25-21, 18-25, 15-13.

The victory got Sage Ridge back to even at 4-4. As for Mineral County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.
