Baseball Recap: Madison Comprehensive Takes a Loss

Madison Comprehensive lost against Vermilion back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rams fell just short of the Sailors by a score of 10-9. The Rams' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Liam Stone led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Bryce Braden was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI.

Madison Comprehensive's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Vermilion, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

While Madison Comprehensive had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
