After failing to score in their last matchup, Gate City made sure to put some goals up on the board against Marion on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Scarlet Hurricanes. The result was nothing new for Gate City, who have now won 13 games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Marion with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Aubrey Smith (2), Ayden Seaver, and Georgia Griffis.

Gate City pushed their record up to 16-3-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those seven contests. As for Marion, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

As of now, neither Gate City nor the Scarlet Hurricanes have any future games scheduled.
