Baseball Recap: Ridgeview Comes Up Short

Ridgeview lost to Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs lost 11-1 to the Rockets. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Max Mason was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double. Colin Bradford also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Ridgeview's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 17-9.

Coming up, Ridgeview will take on Iroquois West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn, they will welcome Midland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
