The Buffalo Island Central Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the East Poinsett County Warriors at 5:00 p.m.

Things were looking good for Buffalo Island Central after they put the first runs on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Sloan-Hendrix by a score of 7-6.

Meanwhile, East Poinsett County had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over Bay on Wednesday.

Buffalo Island Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for East Poinsett County, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

Buffalo Island Central came out on top in a nail-biter against East Poinsett County in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-0. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
