Softball Recap: Cortez Colts vs. Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cortez). Everything went their way against the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks on Tuesday as they made off with a 26-9 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colts.
Averi Reason was excellent, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Beautiful Rodriguez, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two doubles.
