Soccer Recap: West Bladen Takes a Loss

West Bladen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Hoke County Bucks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to West Bladen of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2020.

West Bladen's loss dropped their record down to 2-13-3. As for Hoke County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-12.

West Bladen has already played their next matchup, a 6-0 defeat against West Brunswick on the 16th. As for Hoke County, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on East Bladen at 7:00 p.m. on the 28th. East Bladen will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Hoke County surely won't give up without a fight.
