NorthPoint Christian Academy won the last time they faced HOPE Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The NightHawks narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Royals 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the NightHawks.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was NorthPoint Christian Academy who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 14-25, 25-11, 23-25, 15-8.

Connolly Clayton paced NorthPoint Christian Academy's offense, picking up 26 kills. Clayton got some help from Addison Garlinski and her 20 assists. Clayton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 15 aces.

NorthPoint Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for HOPE Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, NorthPoint Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Parkwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for HOPE Academy, they will welcome Sheets Memorial Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
