Volleyball Recap: Nauset Regional Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Nauset Regional entered their tilt with Cape Cod RVT on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Crusaders. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Crusaders on September 12th, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:three sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 26-24, 27-25.

Stella Smith had a dynamite game, getting 11 digs and six aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September of 2024.

Smith wasn't the only good servers: Nauset Regional was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in four consecutive contests.

Nauset Regional's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Cape Cod RVT, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.

Nauset Regional has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Monomoy on the 3rd. As for Cape Cod RVT, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against South Shore Vo-Tech on the 1st.
