Softball Recap: Davidson Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Davidson can now relate to. They came up short against the Bryant Hurricanes on Friday, falling 15-0. The Warriors were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Hurricanes' pitchers proved too tough.

With the loss, Davidson broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-10. As for Bryant, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-21 record this season.

Davidson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 16-0 defeat against Mary G. Montgomery on the 25th. As for Bryant, they have also already played their next game, a 12-2 loss against Baker on the 25th.
