Volleyball Recap: Clarkstown South Vikings vs. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans
Clarkstown South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Friday.
While Clarkstown South was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22.
Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake was led to victory by Audri Chamberlain and Ella Chamberlain. Audri had nine digs and two aces, while Ella had four digs and one assist.
Clarkstown South's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, they pushed their record up to 19-4-3 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home.
