Volleyball Game Preview: Sandusky Blue Streaks vs. Clyde Fliers

Sandusky hasn't had much luck against Clyde recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Blue Streaks are taking a road trip to square off against the Fliers at 6:30 p.m.

Sandusky lost 3-0 to Perkins on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-7, 25-10.

Clyde hadn't beaten Norwalk on the road since September 6, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Fliers came out on top against the Truckers by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fliers.

The win didn't come easy: Norwalk scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 18-25, 25-22.

Sandusky's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Clyde, their victory bumped their record up to 6-13.

Sandusky suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Clyde in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Blue Streaks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
