Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brownsville). Everything went their way against the California Trojans on Wednesday as they made off with a 10-2 victory. While Brownsville didn't have the best season last year (they finished 0-10-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win made it two in a row for Brownsville and bumps their season record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those two contests. As for California, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-6-1 record this season.

Brownsville will square off against Chartiers-Houston at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for California, they will host Bentworth at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bentworth's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
