Volleyball Recap: Lapeer Comes Up Short

Lapeer had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Skyline Eagles on Wednesday. The Lightning were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2015.

Lapeer has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Mt. Pleasant on the 20th. As for Skyline, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Utica on the 20th.
