Liberty Christian Academy's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Epiphany Falcons 3-0. The Heat haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

While Liberty Christian Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 25-19.

Liberty Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Sam Hearn, who had 20 assists and six digs. Another player making a difference was Presleigh Padgett, who had nine digs and two aces.

Liberty Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Epiphany, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Looking ahead, Liberty Christian Academy will face off against New Bern Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Epiphany, they will take on Wayne Country Day at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
