Volleyball Recap: Broomfield Gets the Win + How To Watch

While Broomfield's victory against Skyline wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles skirted past the Falcons 3-2.

Broomfield wouldn't go down easily and took Skyline into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-16, 25-27, 25-22, 15-12.

Kendra Runyon paced Broomfield's offense, picking up 17 kills. Runyon got some help from Brooklyn Kessler and her 26 assists. Runyon also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Adelaide Griest, each putting up three.

Broomfield's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-11. As for Skyline, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Broomfield will square off against rival Fairview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Skyline is set to face off against their familiar foe Longmont at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
