After a string of four wins, Trinity Episcopal's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 60-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Steward Spartans. The Titans lost against the Spartans in their previous head to head back in January of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 53-19 score last time.

Steward's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hali Harris led the charge by going 8 of 19 on her way to 21 points along with six boards and four steals. Harris has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly Thoman, who posted 11 points in addition to eight assists and three steals.

Trinity Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Steward, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Trinity Episcopal has already played their next contest, a 51-34 loss against Deep Run on the 21st. As for Steward, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 60-28 win against Hanover on the 21st.
