Basketball Game Preview: Ursuline Fighting Irish vs. Edgewood Warriors

Having just played yesterday, the Ursuline Fighting Irish will head out on the road to face off against the Edgewood Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Ursuline knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 matchups -- so hopefully Edgewood likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Ursuline earned a 66-56 victory over Howland. The win continues a trend for the Fighting Irish in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Edgewood posted their biggest victory since February 20, 2024 on Friday. They claimed a resounding 66-34 win over Conneaut.

Edgewood's victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Ursuline, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.

Everything came up roses for Ursuline against Edgewood in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, as the squad secured an 87-53 victory. Does Ursuline have another victory up their sleeve, or will Edgewood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
