Basketball Game Preview: Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights vs. John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers

The Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights will head out on the road to challenge the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westminster School at Oak Mountain has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Westminster School at Oak Mountain turned things around against Alabama Christian Academy on Saturday. They managed a 63-59 win over the Eagles.

Oakwood Academy typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday John Carroll Catholic proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 67-64 victory over the Mustangs. The win was all the more spectacular given the Cavaliers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while the Mustangs are ranked 98th).

Westminster School at Oak Mountain's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8. As for John Carroll Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.
