Game recap: Aquinas Institute tops Bishop Timon-St. Jude

BUFFALO, N.Y. - the Little Irish had a big 19-point second quarter on Saturday, sealing a 32-8 victory over Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, N.Y.).

Aquinas Institute scored on a touchdown run by Marcus Conner, an AJ LoBrutto touchdown run and a Jake Zembiec touchdown pass to Donato Clemente in the quarter.

After taking the lead on a Clemente touchdown run in the first quarter, AI was up 25-0 at the half.

The Rochester school expanded its lead to 32 points entering the fourth quarter. The Little Irish's lone score in the quarter came on a Luch Pietropaolo touchdown run.



Bishop Timon-St. Jude's only touchdown came on a 41-yard run in the fourth quarter.

Bishop Timon-St. Jude (0-1) goes up against GlenOak in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Aquinas Institute (1-0) locks horns with Canisius also in a non-conference game.
