Baseball Recap: West Creek Takes a Loss

West Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Dickson County Cougars, falling 11-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Coyote of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

West Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Dickson County, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.

West Creek and Dickson County could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. The Coyote will face off against Rossview at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (254 vs. 2). Meanwhile, Dickson County (ranked 128th) will meet Clarksville Academy (ranked 19th) at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
