Volleyball Recap: Canterbury Cougars vs. First Baptist Academy Lions
Canterbury and First Baptist Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Canterbury had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Lions. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
Audrey Weber paced Canterbury's offense, picking up 15 kills. Weber got some help from Molly Dunn and her 21 assists.
Peyton Garrick was nothing short of spectacular for First Baptist Academy: she had 17 digs and one assist. With that strong performance, Garrick is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game.
Canterbury's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for First Baptist Academy, the victory was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-1.
