Pendleton had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.4 goals) and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Crescent Tigers with a sharp 8-0 win. Given Pendleton's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 51st, while Crescent are ranked 210th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pendleton's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those six matchups. As for Crescent, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Pendleton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crescent, they will take on Greenwood Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
