Basketball Recap: Los Amigos Piles Up the Points Against Santa Fe

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against San Juan Hills, Los Amigos was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They breezed by the Santa Fe Chiefs to the tune of 69-42. Given the Lobos' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 441st, while the Chiefs are ranked 1094th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Los Amigos has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Santa Fe, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-18.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Los Amigos will take on Savanna at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Savanna is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60 points per game this season. Santa Fe has already played their next matchup (against Whittier), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
