Basketball Recap: Carl Junction Takes a Loss

Carl Junction has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 87-77 to the Branson Pirates on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 84-77.

Carl Junction's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Branson, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Carl Junction will challenge Logan-Rogersville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Branson has already played their next contest (against Marshfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
