Softball Recap: Green Forest Comes Up Short

Green Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 20-5 to the Gravette Lions.

Green Forest saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allie Tipton, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. Brinley Bishop was another, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double.

Green Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Gravette, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Green Forest will welcome Lead Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gravette, they are taking a road trip to take on Cabot at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
