It's playoff time, and George Jenkins had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Ridge Community Bolts on Tuesday as they made off with a 17-2 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Layla Hinojosa looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Reese Yungbluth was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Pate, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.

George Jenkins always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

George Jenkins' win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Ridge Community, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
