Softball Recap: Munday Drops Highest Score of Season Against Knox City

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Munday). They were the clear victors by a 22-16 margin over the Knox City Greyhounds on Monday. The Moguls not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since February 22, 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Munday and bumps their season record up to 4-7. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Knox City, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Munday is set to challenge their familiar foe Northside at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Knox City will take on rival Harrold at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
