Rowlett dropped their record down to 14-15-1 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Sachse Mustangs by a score of 7-6. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 9-3.
Baylee Grant was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over ten innings while giving up five earned (and two unearned) runs off ten hits.
