Nooksack Valley waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Hoquiam Grizzlies by a score of 8-4. The Pioneers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Grizzlies, too.

Nooksack Valley's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Hoquiam, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10-1 record this season.
