Soccer Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison lost against Reagan back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Madison Mavericks lost 4-0 to the Reagan Rattlers. While losing is never fun, the Mavericks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 166th in Texas, while the Rattlers are ranked 40th in Texas).

Madison's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Reagan, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Madison will challenge Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Reagan, they will square off against LEE at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as LEE comes in on five and Reagan on three.
