Soccer Game Preview: Conant vs. St. Thomas Aquinas

The Conant Orioles will face off against the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Conant's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Conant's offense. They lost 9-0 to Hopkinton on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, St. Thomas Aquinas made easy work of Bishop Brady on Friday and carried off a 6-1 victory. St. Thomas Aquinas might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by three goals or more this season.

St. Thomas Aquinas' win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Conant, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Conant suffered a grim 5-2 defeat to St. Thomas Aquinas when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Orioles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
