Basketball Recap: Cashmere Comes Up Short

Cashmere and Seton Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Cashmere had to settle for second. They fell 68-61 to the Seton Catholic Cougars. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (58), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Cashmere dropped their record down to 20-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Seton Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Cashmere does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Seton Catholic has already played their next game (against Zillah), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
