Volleyball Recap: Schlagle Comes Up Short

Schlagle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the De Soto Wildcats.

The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-3.

De Soto found their leader in freshman Isabel Galmarini, who had 15 aces. Those 15 aces set a new season-high mark for Galmarini.

Schlagle's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for De Soto, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 21-8.

Schlagle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Gardner-Edgerton on the 11th. As for De Soto, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Hayden on the 11th.
