Baseball Recap: Berthoud Spartans vs. Highland Huskies

Berthoud stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They never let the Highland Huskies onto the board and left with a 16-0 victory. The win was nothing new for Berthoud as they're now sitting on three straight.

Adam Hayes and Jack McCrea made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Hayes kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, McCrea tossed an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hayes has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive pitching appearances. At bat, Hayes scored a run while going 1-for-3, while McCrea scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
