Volleyball Recap: Nitro Wildcats vs. St. Albans Red Dragons

Nitro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell just short of the St. Albans Red Dragons by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September.

Nitro started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-8, 15-12.

Despite the loss, Nitro still got an impressive performance from Baylee Carpenter, who had six digs.

Even though they lost, Nitro kept the net locked down and finished the game with 13 blocks. That's the most blocks they've managed all season.
