Basketball Recap: Glen Burnie Takes a Loss

Glen Burnie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Annapolis Panthers, falling 74-38. While losing is never fun, the Gophers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 225th, while the Panthers are ranked 16th).

Glen Burnie's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Annapolis, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glen Burnie will challenge Southern at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Annapolis, they will take on North County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
