Basketball Recap: Fall River Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

Fall River won against Benton last Monday with 64 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Fall River Pirates beat the Benton Zephyrs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 64-40. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-40 last Monday.

Fall River pushed their record up to 12-11 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.9 points over those games. As for Benton, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-21.

Coming up, Fall River will take on Barneveld on Friday. Barneveld will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Fall River surely won't give up without a fight. Benton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
