Buffalo Grove posted their biggest win since December 6, 2024 on Friday. They blew past the Elk Grove Grenadiers 70-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bison also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Buffalo Grove and bumps their season record up to 6-10. As for Elk Grove, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Buffalo Grove and Elk Grove could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Buffalo Grove (ranked 389th) will meet Schaumburg (ranked 141st) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Elk Grove will challenge Dixon at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday down 401 places (579 vs. 178).
