Basketball Recap: Beaches Chapel Takes a Loss

After flying high against Parsons Christian Academy last Tuesday, Beaches Chapel came back down to earth. The Beaches Chapel Lions fell to Temple Christian Academy 59-55. The Lions have struggled against Temple Christian Academy recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

It was another big night for Daiyon Williams, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 boards for Temple Christian Academy. Those 17 points gave Williams a new career-high. Jayden Marshall was another key player, putting up eight points and six rebounds.

Beaches Chapel's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Temple Christian Academy, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10.

Beaches Chapel will challenge Harvest Community at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Temple Christian Academy, they will take on Parsons Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Temple Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.2 points per game this season.
