Volleyball Recap: Lakewood Ranch Beats Parrish Community for Their Fourth Straight Victory

While Lakewood Ranch's victory against Parrish Community wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Bulls 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Mustangs, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Lakewood Ranch was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-19, 15-25, 25-19, 23-21.

Lakewood Ranch was led to victory by Juliana Neri and Adalynn Lund. Neri had 35 kills, while Lund had 15 digs, ten kills, two aces, and one block. With that strong performance, Lund is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game. Hayden Zimmerman was another key player, getting 12 digs and one assist.

They weren't the only good servers: Lakewood Ranch was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Lakewood Ranch's record is now 16-8. As for Parrish Community, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
