Volleyball Recap: NYOS Charter Comes Up Short

NYOS Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the KIPP Austin Collegiate Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16.

NYOS Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for KIPP Austin Collegiate, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

NYOS Charter and KIPP Austin Collegiate will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Jaguars see the court they'll take on IDEA Round Rock Tech at 5:30 p.m. on the 9th. As for KIPP Austin Collegiate, their break will end when they face Valor Kyle at 5:30 p.m. on the 19th.
