Basketball Game Preview: Rushville-Industry Rockets vs. Beardstown Tigers

The Rushville-Industry Rockets will take on the Beardstown Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Rushville-Industry came up short against Pittsfield and fell 53-43. The loss continues a trend for the Rockets in their matchups with the Saukees: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Beardstown, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Astoria/VIT 62-35 on Tuesday. The Tigers pushed the score to 55-26 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rebels cut but never quite recovered from.

Beardstown's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11. As for Rushville-Industry, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Rushville-Industry was able to grind out a solid win over Beardstown in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, winning 44-31. Will Rushville-Industry repeat their success, or does Beardstown have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
