Volleyball Recap: Hollywood Hills Takes a Loss

Hollywood Hills and St. Thomas Aquinas squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Hollywood Hills had to settle for second. They came up short against the Raiders, falling 3-0. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the defeat, Hollywood Hills saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Christian Hernandez had 14 digs.

Hollywood Hills' loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Hollywood Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Archbishop McCarthy on the 29th.
