Basketball Recap: Lawrence County Snaps 18-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Lawrence County was the 63-52 winner over Loretto when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Lawrence County Wildcats took a 52-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Loretto Mustangs on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly eight points.

Lawrence County's defeat ended an 18-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-4. As for Loretto, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Lawrence County will face off against Muscle Shoals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Loretto, they will square off against Stone Memorial at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Stone Memorial's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups.
